1977 – First modular furniture for bars
The bar furniture becomes modular to create customized solutions.
1991 - Ifi goes one step further with Factotum
With Factotum by Ifi, the supporting structure of the modules was manufactured in steel instead of wood to prevent perforation corrosion and thus guarantee solidity and a long service life. Factotum remains the reference technology for the bar furniture sector.
2005 – Presents pozzetti with ventilated refrigeration.
The pozzetti with ventilated refrigeration established a new standard in the tradition of ice cream parlors.

1990 - Ifi acquires Metalmobil
The brand (founded in 1956) specializes in the production of seats and tables for indoor and outdoor collective spaces. That same year, the Steelmobil and L&R brands were acquired, thus diversifying the range offer within the same product sector.
2003 - Ifi acquires IRD
Ifi acquired the company and the IRD brand (founded in 1964), specializing in the manufacture of turnkey furniture for the Contract and Food & Beverage sectors.
2010- 2012 - European Day of Artisan Gelato
Ifi actively participated in the recognition of the European Day of Artisan Gelato at the headquarters of the European Parliament in Strasbourg and Brussels.
In 2019, Ifi opens an office in Miami: Ifi America Corporation
For Ifi, this operation meant a reinforcement of its presence in the North American market. Ifi America Corporation will be responsible for product storage, logistics, customer service, and assistance activities. In addition, it will organize specific events and have a showroom in which to show its technological and design solutions for the equipment of catering establishments.
